ACAO as member of the Safety Enhancement Initiatives Group SEIG has participated in the Safety Enhancement Initiatives Group SEIG/6, the National Continues Monitoring Coordinator (NCMC) the NASP/SSP WS, which have been held in Kuwait, the 13-17 October 2024. The meeting has been chaired by Dr. Mohamed Hushki representative of Jordan CAA (CARC). The meeting was attended by a total of Twinty (20) participants from six (6) States (Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and UAE), two (2) Organizations (ACAO, ICAO).

The meeting commenced by the presentation of the statute progress of the safety enhancement initiatives agreed at the MID RASP 2023-2025, mainly for the 2023 & 2024, while new SEIs has been agreed for 2025. The meeting was an opportunity also to share the latest amendment of the GASP edition 2026-2028 which is currently passed through the council to be submitted to the ICAO assembly A42 for endorsement. Additionally, the meeting has been apprised with the MID states progress on NASP. The meeting also agreed to initiate new initiatives (SEI) regarding the implementing of Artificial Intelligence and AAM and new entrants. ACAO made presentation on the collaboration and contribution of ACAO in the implementation of the GASP and RASPs.

The meeting was followed by a meeting regarding the NCMCs their essentials roles in the USOAP. Then participants States shared their experiences in the USOAP as support for the other states.
