The Environmental Protection Committee of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization held its thirtieth meeting via videoconference on 16 and 17 March 2026, with the participation of 18 environment officials representing 13 member states of the Organization.

The Committee members discussed the follow‑up to the implementation of the recommendations issued at its previous session, the follow‑up to the implementation of the work programme and its priorities, as well as the capacity‑building and development programme for the year 2026.

The Committee also addressed the latest developments related to environmental protection in the field of civil aviation at the Arab and regional levels.

The Committee additionally adopted the Organization’s operational plan for capacity building in the field of environmental protection for the period 2027–2028.
