Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization Continues Strengthening Engagement with Arab Diplomatic Missions Accredited to the Kingdom of Morocco

As part of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization's continued efforts to strengthen institutional engagement with Arab diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Eng. Khalid Cherkaoui, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), continued his meetings with Arab Ambassadors through an official visit to H.E. Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Morocco.
The meeting provided an opportunity to highlight ACAO's role in advancing joint Arab action in the field of civil aviation and to discuss avenues for strengthening cooperation and coordination between the Organization and its Member States. Discussions also focused on supporting the development of the Arab civil aviation sector through enhanced training programmes, capacity building initiatives, and the exchange of expertise, in line with the rapidly evolving regional and international aviation landscape.
The Director General also outlined the Organization's priorities for the coming period, reaffirming ACAO's commitment to expanding cooperation with its Member States, strengthening strategic partnerships, and further developing its programmes and initiatives in a manner that responds to the evolving needs of Member States and promotes greater Arab integration across all areas of civil aviation.
In the same context, the General Directorate of ACAO was honoured to receive H.E. Ms. Mawadda Omar Haj Al-Toum Al-Badawi, Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan to the Kingdom of Morocco, who paid a courtesy visit to the Organization's headquarters.
During the visit, the Director General welcomed H.E. the Ambassador and presented an overview of ACAO's principal programmes and technical activities, reaffirming the Organization's commitment to supporting its Member States and strengthening cooperation and coordination in furtherance of the objectives of joint Arab action in the field of civil aviation.
For her part, H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan expressed her appreciation for the important role played by ACAO in serving its Member States and reaffirmed the importance of continued cooperation and coordination in support of the development of the Arab civil aviation sector and the advancement of joint Arab action.
These meetings form part of the Organization's ongoing approach to strengthening engagement with its Member States and their diplomatic missions, consolidating institutional partnerships, and enhancing consultation and coordination in support of the effective implementation of ACAO's programmes and its mission to serve the Arab civil aviation sector.
