The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority in Jordan, Captain Haitham Mesto, said that a limited number of incoming flights to Queen Alia International Airport were delayed due to the resetting of navigation devices.
Mesto revealed to "Ammon" agency that "an emergency malfunction is being dealt with in adjusting the navigational equipment, and it will be calibrated within a short time, which called for waiting for only two planes without landing."
He added, "It is necessary to ensure the validity of the navigational devices before landing, while the work will be completed within a very short time."
Mesto categorically denied returning any plane coming to Jordan yesterday, Saturday, for security or other reasons.
